The plan
OnWater approached us with a goal to increase the downloads of their fishing and navigation application with a budget for two vertical videos and a handful of stills. We downloaded the app, and headed to some of our favorite autumn landscapes in Central, PA. The official deliverables included two vertical videos (also in a square aspect ratio) for ad campaigns, ten still images, and two collaborative posts through the Braker Bros’ Instagram platform.
The results
Between IOS and Android analytics, both of the videos have already racked in just below 570K total impressions, and the campaign isn’t finished.
We observed a low CPC (cost per click) of $0.59 for Apple users and an above-average CTR (click-through rate) of 0.66%.
The videos were a success and helped to fulfill their role of a top-of-funnel install tool in order to build awareness and grow the OnWater user base.
